Queer Events in cooperation with Queer Rotterdam is organizing a special Queer Connection Event exclusively for queer individuals aged 21+ in Rotterdam and the surrounding areas. This event is all about meeting new people, connecting in a fun and safe(r) environment, and who knows—you might even find a new friend or activity group that lasts beyond the evening!

Event Overview The evening will start with a warm welcome and instructions from Zan (she/her) and Mars (she/they). You’ll receive stickers to write your name and pronouns on. We’ll kick things off with casual chatting and deciding what to add to the Activity Board.

How It Works You’ll mingle in small groups of 3–5 people at different tables, guided by question cards placed in envelopes. This time, we’re focusing on friendly introductions, hobbies, and queer pop culture! The rotation ensures you’ll meet multiple people throughout the event. The question cards are there to help break the ice and spark meaningful conversations. Cards will also help you find out with whom you share common hobbies.

Activity/Friend Board We’ll set up an Activity & Friend Board, where you can share your contact information during the evening. The board will be divided into sections—like invitations for walking, bouldering, or cinema groups—where interested participants can leave their contact. You can even add your own categories or set up 1:1 coffee dates! The goal? To build lasting connections and enjoy shared hobbies together.

Mingling & Drinks 🍻 After the event, we encourage everyone to join us for a drink at a nearby bar to keep the conversations going and strengthen those new friendships!
