Do you want to meet new people to discuss non-monogamy with? You are welcome to join us as we collaborate with Polyamorieborrel Rotterdam!

Often society idealizes allonormative* and monogamous relationships which can make it difficult for those of us who lie outside of these expectations. So Queer Rotterdam’s non-monogamy support group, Queer Relaties, is teaming up with Polyamorieborrel Rotterdam to give space for an event to open networking possibilities for queer individuals in need of a safe space to discuss these topics. Polyamorieborrel Rotterdam hosts monthly non-monogamy borrels to give a space to meet up with new and old people within our local community. Whether you’re simply curious, want some advice or are searching for understanding from like-minded folks, you are invited to join us!

We aim to give space to the cross-section of queer and non-monogamy since these are minority identities that can make finding community difficult. We want to give space for recognition and visibility, while also extending our networks to meet new people! Thus encouraging safer spaces to open, explore, and continue to be in dialogue with one another.

When you join please be aware of the following intensions for the event and space. We are here together to make a safer space for all involved. Safer since spaces cannot always be safe but we all try our best to limit harm and hold space for each other. On that note, please assume good intentions of each other. Please ask for people’s pronouns, let’s come to these conversations with curiosity at the forefront.
