The Queer Choir is here!

Queer Rotterdam stands for togetherness within the Queer community and singing is one of the many ways to come and create something that can be magical. That is why we have the first edition of the Queer Choir!

Each session has a different theme and this week we will be the 80s!

We will start the session with some warm-up exercises and then our lovely conductor/mentor @alexorozco will introduce us to a few songs that fit the theme! We will have different kind of ‘difficulties’ in the songs with some that are with different voices. The aim of the choir is to have fun and connect through music, so don’t worry if you feel like you have too little experience or ‘talent’. Our conductor has lots of experience with choirs and can help the group to flourish within the songs we do.

Each session will be different and you can come to whichever sessions you can and don’t need to be there every time. We love to see you at any session! Here you can find the sheet music. On our website event you can find a link to the drop box to already have a look at the songs and download/print them and you can even check out past songs we did. And if you have any recommendations or wishes for songs, send them to us here via DM or via an e-mail (info@queerrotterdam.nl) so we can see if they fit the themes and then maybe take it with us in one of the upcoming sessions. And if you have any questions about the choir, please also contact us! We are happy to help and ease you into coming to the Queer Choir.
